Ceramic coating is low maintenance, not no maintenance. A few simple habits keep it performing for years.

How do you maintain a ceramic coating?

Wash every 2–3 weeks with a pH-neutral shampoo using the two-bucket method, dry with a clean microfiber, and avoid automatic brush washes. Remove bird droppings and sap quickly, and wait about 7 days after application before the first wash.

Avoid these

  • Brush car washes
  • Dish soap or harsh degreasers
  • Dirty or dropped towels
  • Washing in direct hot sun

Questions people ask

Usually a film of road grime is covering it. A proper decon wash typically brings the beading back.
