Slums charges a flat, condition-based rate: $150 for faded lenses, $165 for yellowed lenses, and $185 for damaged or pitted lenses. That covers both headlights, and we come to you.
How long does headlight restoration take?
About an hour for most vehicles. You do not need to leave your home or office — we work in your driveway or parking space.
How long does the restoration last?
Two to three years with normal care. We finish with a UV-blocking protective coat, which is what prevents the oxidation from returning quickly.
Is restoration better than buying new headlights?
For most vehicles, yes. Replacement housings typically run $550–$800 plus installation at a dealer. Restoration achieves near-new clarity for a fraction of that.
