Before the first trip, give the rig a full once-over. Spring is when hidden winter damage shows up.
How do you clean an RV after winter?
Start on the roof, cleaning and inspecting seams, then wash the sides top-down to remove black streaks and pollen, treat any mildew, clean windows and seals, then air out and wipe down the interior. Finish with wax or UV protectant before summer sun.
Checklist
- Roof wash and seam inspection
- Black streak removal
- Mildew on seals and awnings
- Windows and trim
- Wheels and tires
- Interior air-out and wipe-down
