Why a Brand New Car Needs Ceramic Coating

Your car will never have better paint than the day you bought it. That's exactly why it should be protected now, not after the damage starts.
Does a new car need ceramic coating?
A new car benefits more from ceramic coating than any other vehicle because the paint is at its best and has the most to lose. New cars often arrive with transport fallout, rail dust and dealer-wash swirls, and factory clear coat is unprotected against UV, salt and bird droppings. Coating now locks in that new-car finish for years.
What happens to new paint between factory and driveway
- Rail and truck transport leaves iron fallout
- Lot exposure to sun and weather
- Dealer prep washes with dirty mitts cause swirls
- Lot 'protection packages' are often a quick spray
Which level for a new car
Most new cars need Level 2 ($650) — a one-stage correction removes dealer swirls before the 6-year coating goes on. Truly flawless paint can go straight to Level 1 ($500).
