RV Wax vs Polymer Sealant: Which Is Better?

Both protect, but they last different amounts of time.

Is wax or sealant better for an RV?

Wax gives warm gloss and protection for a season. A polymer sealant lasts longer and resists UV and grime better, making it a good choice for RVs that sit outdoors. At Slums, Wash & Wax is $17/ft and the Polymer Paint Sealant add-on is $10/ft with that package.

Pricing

Slums prices RV work by linear foot: Basic Wash $6/ft, Premium Wash $8/ft (adds roof cleaning, conditioner, UV protectant, hand-polished wheels), Wash & Wax $17/ft (adds RV wax and brightwork polish), and Restorer $35/ft (adds machine oxidation polishing and gelcoat restoration). UV Roof Treatment is a $100 add-on, and Polymer Paint Sealant is $10/ft with Wash & Wax.
